Personal Care

If you are living with a disability, managing your personal care may be very challenging. Integrity Disability Hub can help.

What exactly is personal care?

Personal care & the NDIS

We have dedicated support workers and personal carers who can provide friendly and comforting assistance and disability services. Our support staff can come to your home in the mornings, afternoons or evenings to assist you with your daily tasks and everyday living. If you are a participant in the NDIS, you may be eligible for funding to help you with this important area of your life. ‘Assistance with Daily Life’ is a budget that falls under the category of ‘Core Supports.’ The funding includes assistance with daily personal tasks that allow you to live as independently and dignified as possible.

What exactly is personal care?

Personal care is anything done for you that is of a personal nature. This may include personal hygiene such as bathing, showering and hair washing, as well as oral hygiene, dressing and continence management such as toileting, catheter/stoma care and bed changing. It may also involve assistance with eating and drinking. This type of care may be needed in a variety of settings and circumstances. For example, if you live in your own home, with family or with others, a disability support worker may come each morning to assist you in getting ready for the day.

Planning your NDIS

We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities at Integrity Disability Hub because we think that everyone has the right to get the assistance they require. We cultivate partnerships with the local community, health experts, service providers and most importantly, you, to give the best possible outcomes to assist you in living a fulfilling life. We are a knowledgeable team of NDIS Plan Managers and Support Coordinators with a people-first mindset.
